💙 What is Impact Aid—and why does it matter to Miami Public Schools?

Recent Posts

Impact Aid is federal funding that helps support school districts like MPS because some of the property within or connected to our community is federally owned or otherwise affects the local tax base.

For Miami Public Schools, our connection to tribal lands and federally connected families makes the annual Impact Aid Survey especially important.

The funding we receive helps support the everyday education of ALL MPS students—including classroom resources, programs, staff, and other district needs.

📋 That’s why we need every family to complete the Impact Aid Survey. Even if you aren’t sure whether your family qualifies, please complete and return it. The information families provide helps us accurately identify federally connected students and receive the funding our district is eligible for.

Every completed survey matters. Thank you for helping us bring federal dollars back to Miami Public Schools to support our students! 💙💛
