Impact Aid is federal funding that helps support school districts like MPS because some of the property within or connected to our community is federally owned or otherwise affects the local tax base.
For Miami Public Schools, our connection to tribal lands and federally connected families makes the annual Impact Aid Survey especially important.
The funding we receive helps support the everyday education of ALL MPS students—including classroom resources, programs, staff, and other district needs.
