NEW LEGISLATION: Cell Phone Ban

A new law passed in Oklahoma—HB3913 (codified as 70 O.S. § 24-28)—requires all public schools to implement a bell-to-bell ban on student use of personal electronic devices during the instructional day, unless authorized for educational purposes. This includes cell phones, smart watches, earbuds, and other similar devices.
